A leader in pediatric medical care
HealthBridge Children’s Hospital is Houston’s
first and only pediatric specialty hospital,
providing comprehensive, interdisciplinary care
for children who require treatment for birth and
developmental disorders, catastrophic illness, or
traumatic injury. We stand out as a leader in
pediatric medical care and rehabilitation because
our facility is designed, staffed and
technologically equipped for medically complex
pediatric patients within a warm and nurturing
environment. Our mission is to help
children
from infancy to age 21 reach their optimum level
of wellness and development through our
comprehensive array of inpatient and outpatient
therapy services.
With 24 private rooms, our hospital gives families
a sense of intimacy not evident in traditional
children’s hospital settings. Upon arrival,
families are greeted by inviting common areas such
as the front parlor TV room, the family dining
area, and the front porch furnished with rocking
chairs that are perfect for relaxing while
enjoying a view of the setting sun. Our home-like
environment creates an atmosphere that is
conducive to involvement by the whole family.

staff that includes physicians who are
board-certified in pediatric critical care,
pulmonary care, infectious disease, internal
medicine, allergy and immunology, physical
medicine and rehabilitation, and neuropsychiatry.
HealthBridge Houston is committed to assisting
children and their families through medically
challenging times with the support of a dedicated
staff in a warm, nurturing environment. An
interdisciplinary team of specialists including
board-certified physicians, nurses, dietitians,
Child Life specialists, pediatric
neuropsychiatrists, child educators, social
workers, case managers, and respiratory therapists
work together on a personalized treatment plan
based on the unique needs of each child.
